Simply spruiking... more markets this weekend!

Jut a quick note to let you know that I'll be spruiking my wares at not one but two markets this weekend, in different states to boot.  While I wish this meant I had finally mastered the magic of being in two places at once, because that would be damn handy, alas that is not the case.  I'm off to Brisbane for Finders Keepers, while my lovely friend Georgia is going to look after my stall at the North Melbourne Market.

Details for both markets are below.  I'm looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces in Brisbane and meeting some new ones too.

The Finders Keepers, Brisbane
  • When:  Saturday 6th November 10am - 5pm and Sunday 7th November 10am - 5pm
  • Where: The Old Museum, Cnr Bowen Bridge Road & Gregory Terrace, Herston.  Click here for a map
  • My stall: is C15, located in "Studio 3", which is the room at the far/ right hand end of the verandah. Here's a link to a little map of the market.
  • Public transport options: Bowen Hills and Brunswick Street railway stations are less than a 10 minute walk from The Old Museum, and buses access the surrounding streets regularly.
  • Parking: There is no parking available onsite however the RNA showgrounds is offering Finders Keepers patrons all day parking in their carpark for a flat rate of $10. The parking lot will be open from 9:30am - 6:30pm daily.
  • ATMs: There are no ATMS on site.  The nearest ATM is a 10 minute walk at Fortitude Valley Station on Brunswick Street. I will have credit card facilities, but a lot of stallholders take cash only.

North Melbourne Market
  • When:  Sunday 7th November 10am - 2pm
  • Where: The Lithuanian Club, 44 Errol Street, North Melbourne.  Click here for a map
  • My stall: You'll find Georgia and my wares upstairs in the "boardroom" overlooking Errol Street.
  • Public transport: The number 57 tram from Elizabeth St in the city goes right down Errol Street, or the North Melbourne train station isn't too far away either.
  • Parking: There's lots of 2 hour metered street parking around, though probably best to avoid the main drag of Errol Street and look in the streets surrounding.
  • ATMs: My stall will be cash only for this market, but there's plenty of different ATMs for all banks down Errol Street.

Now, I'd better get cracking on finishing more new pieces and organising all the other bits and bobs that are involved!

Simply yours,
Phoebe
