Simply counting... down to Finders Keepers

How time flies when you're... running around like a headless chook!  In less than a week's time, I'll be down at Shed 4 in Melbourne's Docklands spruiking my wares at Finders Keepers' very first Melbourne market.  I've been a keen shopper at their events since they started out very small in Sydney a few years' back and then had the pleasure of being a stallholder at the event in Brisbane last year.  If you've haven't heard of Finders Keepers, I think this little blurb from their website sums it up well:

"The markets brings together new emerging and contemporary independent artists and designers of original and high creative standards.  Our aim is to always introduce new innovative work to cater for a wide range of our customers and supporters. Every market event is completely unique and we always introduce new designers and try and rotate stallholders from previous events, as well as featuring local independent musicians and we're always including other special features!"

If you're in Melbourne, I highly recommend dropping in.  Browsing through the list of designers taking part, it looks like a pretty talented bunch.  In fact I think I'll be a little star struck by a few of them.  I think I'll be lucky not to spend all my earnings before I leave!

Before signing off, I'll leave you with a few snaps of some more recent pieces that I'll have on hand at the market, and others coming up over the next couple of months.  There's a bit of a theme with these ones that is relevant to a certain big event in Melbourne today, but I just can't bring myself to actually acknowledge it in writing.  I really wish it was another colour scheme.  Hopefully the Melbournians will get it...

Simply yours,
